'94 2.3..Got my KKM Tru-Rev in and installed on Friday. What a difference! Super mid-range power, and easier to maintain highway speeds. Only a very slight improvement in initial take off but once the RPMs get going it is impressive. A new clutch should help that tho'.

BTW, the tech at Kurtzs was very helpfull and suggested that without major mods to stick with the 2.0 pipes and free flowing (40, 50 type) muffler.

i actually think that with some time and some pvc pipe one can make a decent looking substitute for the kkm...:drunk:

Careful!
I've heard that PVC can get hot if not attached right, melt and release toxic fumes!!!
I assume if you dont attach it to a hot part it will be ok...?

yep that is right pvc (poly vinyl chloride) can produce chlorine gas when burned, which can be quite lethal. There should not be a risk if you you place the intake far away from the header. Even if the pipe melts a little there will not be enough gas to strongly damage a human body. Pretty much to recieve a harm from a pvc fire you will have to light the pipe on fire and inclose your self were you constantly inhale the fumes. There is a slight risk of cancer from pvc fumes but there is no real proof of this theory. If you placed the intake where it is not on the header there should not be a problem b/c it will take a large ammount of heat to really get pvc going. If you want more infor on the stuff chek greenpeace's site (I can't stand these guys), but they do have so very good info.

Yeah, very noticable power increase with good sound. Also MPG increase although I have to burn a tank or two to see and I can't keep my foot out of the throttle because I can now pass people!

About $160 with 3 day air, 11 min to install.

I've got one on mine, and I love it!! The difference in power and accelleration is noticable. It looks pretty good too, but I definately like the change in the sound of my exhaust. Sounds lower and has more throat. I have a Flowmaster 40 Delta Flow with duals out the back and it sounds great. The highway is much nicer to drive on too, and the truck can actually do 70 in a headwind now HAHAHA. I've had the same problem with keeping my foot off the gas, those extra few horses just want to make me race!!:naughty:
