View Full Version : water trap?? Rudy Sep 24 2003, 08:23pm does everyone use one ? It goes between the compressor and tank right? Rudy Ricky Sep 24 2003, 10:17pm man don`t even waste your $$ on one. by the time the air gets in the tank, it`s warm to hot. Once it starts to cool it`ll condensate inside. (if I`m wrong on that someone correct me. I`m no scientist) but putting it between the comp/tank will do nothing. AcidRanger Sep 25 2003, 12:30am generally Speaking if yew wanted to keep all moisture out of the Tank then yes, yew would put it between compressor and tank. I leave that up to each there own. However if yew decide to go like a CO2 setup then yew will really need one so as to not freeze yer lines. But with general tanks and compressors in full time warm climates it not as big of a worry. If yer in a colder climate where the air will go from warm to cold, it will create moisture inside the tank. Its really yer choice, but thats the generals on it. Acid Jory Sep 25 2003, 09:53am i always run 1, i live in indiana and by the time im done playin w/ my truck for a night the water trap is about full of water. i get lots of moisture cuz its warm during the day and freezing at night now. destinydog Sep 25 2003, 02:42pm although it wont catch all the water any bit it does catch will be well worth it, unless u drain ur tanks often TX Ranger Nov 19 2003, 01:00pm asdjk;asdkl;asd |
