Bah. You don't need a nice house! You can pick up a single-wide down here for about $16K. :D It'd be worth it;)

Where could you drive a car like that? Besides your driveway? You would worry about haters messing with it...AND the roads are too bad around her for it to go anywhere...you couldn't even go to Sonic in it!

I don't know where supercars.net got their info from, but I hope this quote is a sign of things to come

The car was built to the specifications of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO), organizer of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, so that it would be eligible to compete at Le Mans and in the American Le Mans Series.

Yeah, really...who wants to be able to corner at high speed [/sarcasm] (Someday people will understand downforce)

Their intentions are to run FIA GT with that car, but like stated earlier, it is ACO legal, so it could run ALMS. There was rumor of it running in the Bathurst 24 Hours, but I don't think anything came of that It wouldn't surprise me if they brought the car over to run the 12 Hours of Sebring though.

Here is an update on the R-GT:
Lamborghini has confirmed that it will be continuing the development and testing programme for its Murciélago R-GT by competing in the last round of the FIA GT Championship at Monza this weekend.

The R-GT was out on track at the A1-Ring circuit for its third test session since launch this week, with Rinaldo Capello once again at the wheel, as he was for the car's roll-out test in Vallelunga. Capello and former ALMS team-mate Tom Kristensen will pilot the car at Monza, as original Estoril pilots, Oliver Gavin and Peter Kox are locked in ALMS battle at Road Atlanta.

“We are pleased by the potential the car has shown during testing," Automobili Lamborghini marketing manager Manfred Fitzgerald confirmed, "The R-GT was unveiled less than six weeks ago, and we have already realised significant progress.

"This race car is the result of an extensive development programme within an extremely short period, and we are looking forward to using the R-GT in race conditions for the first time. Being able to participate at Monza will provide the team with valuable feed-back for the next stage of our performance development programme.”

*chuckles* some times I think certain classes are just not given a fair shot. I presume it would be competing in GTS if it was in ALMS? Somehow, I think a lambo would smoke a corvette in every dimension if it was running on 7 cylinders... But i guess it does come back to the driver, but damn. Thats not even nice :E
