I was wondering if any companies out there make a custom turbo kit for '01+ duratec ranger/B2300s. If not, when my turbo fund grows bigger, I could drive south to the bay area in Cali and have a reputable tuner shop custom fabricate me a T-3 turbo setup. But I wanted a kit because it would be cheaper than a custom job. I want boost! Gracias, Al.

Do some reading, go read the FAQ. There are no kits that I know of, but it's not that hard to do... go read up and if you can't find the answers to your next questions let us know

Thanks, Doug. I figured there wouldn't be any turbo kits on the market yet. I guess the easiest way I can make my truck fast for cheap is build it up N/A and strong enough for a 100 shot or so of squeeze!

Well for the turbo you need basically, stronger pistons... a turbo header / exhaust... and for your computer to be set up for it... then for more boost you'll need larger fuel injectors.... If you have the cash, you could have a custom chip made to make the computer part of it plug and play (it will use your current computer and set it up for a turbo and larger injectors), but you still need to pull the block to change out the pistons....

You could use an Apexi S-AFC, in conjunction with the turbo, upgraded pistons and larger injectors. But you (or someone who knew what they were doing) would need to tune it on a dyno with a wide band O2 to get your A/F correct.
