Oh man, talk about impatient It is still 2003. Several companies are trying to modify the 02 lifts to fit the 03 models. The spindles/brakes are different which makes the 02 kits not work on 03s. :bawl: sytnec Nov 06 2003, 08:02pm D: i'm gettin bored .. cant do much w/ it anymore till i can lift it ;/ 98rangerstep Nov 08 2003, 10:06am Originally posted by sytnec i cant seem to find anything for a 2wd 2003 ;/ ... i want to do a 5.5 suspension / 3" body, but i cant find anywhere that they sell them .. always for >2000 Go to fabtech they just came out with a 5.5" lift for the 03's '03Ranger4X4XLT Nov 25 2003, 10:19am not a flame, but why bother with a 2wd? esx Nov 25 2003, 02:52pm why not?... i dont plan on doing hardcore offroading jus lifting it .. i dont like lowered trucks ;p n the stock ride is to small EdgeR6 Nov 25 2003, 10:33pm 3 inch body lift will work. RedRangerRoach Nov 26 2003, 09:20am Anyone heard anything about suspension lift kits for the '03 4x4 rangers? I'm still trying to deciede on suspension lift, or stay small and go just a copule inches with a body lift.... esx Nov 26 2003, 12:22pm i'm pretty sure they gotta couple out for the 4x4 models .. its hard to find any lift for the 2wd's cuz most people with the 2wd's lower instead of lift ;/ unless they prerun it and go with mad shocks Ranger Rover Nov 26 2003, 01:36pm Originally posted by '03Ranger4X4XLT not a flame, but why bother with a 2wd? don't be ignorant... I bet I offroad my truck 100% harder than you ever will by the way downsouth this isn't a 4x4 vs 2WD thing, since I know 4x4's like you or dustin that beat on their trucks :) And by the way, Fabtech should have one out, I'm almost 100% sure. In any given weekend I will put about 200 HARD offroad miles on my truck. I don't go around saying "why bother with 4x4.... you spend all this money and you still can't beat me in the fast stuff"... I don't because it's an unfair comparision. Can I seriously rockcrawl or "mud bog"? no and I don't try to say that I do. But I don't go around saying things like "why bother" if I don't understand the aspect of offroading that someone does. DownSouthTAS Dec 03 2003, 12:49pm RangerRover's right. He can't beat his truck like I beat mine, and I sure as hell couldn't keep up with him where he goes without extraordinary breakage and part failure. Offroading is offroading. Where and how you do it is a personal preference. Ranger Rover Dec 04 2003, 06:04am Amen brotha! |
