Here is my problem: I am lowered up front 5 inches 3'' beams 2'' coils. My sway bar end links were rubbing on the idler arm. So I bought the 4x4 end links. When I installed the endlinks I had to push up the truckabout an inch to connect the bar to the endlinks. Now my sway bar is pushed up at a 45 degree angle. Will this effect anything. The bar is supose to be parellel with the frame to to be 100 % effective right?. I was looking at the bushings that hold the bar to the frame and it is about an inch and a half from the frame. Are there any bushings that pull the bar up closer to the frame? Has anybody else had this problem? Sorry for the long post.

I currently have my antisway bar disconnected from the suspension and I have noticed very little handling performance decrease. To be honest, I don't think you will notice a change when the antisway bar is at 45 degree angle.
don't know what style end-links are on your truck, but if it's a standard style they are available at most parts stores. we have Pep-Boys and Auto Zone around me and they both carry end-links in several lengths.

the ones from autozone WONT work unless u have a 98 up. i dont recomend ditching the sway bar unless u have bags w/ 4 valves up front.... u have to get the 4x4 endlinks from ford there like 20 bux

I AGREE WITH THE ABOVE POSTS. I NOTICED ZERO RIDE DIFFERENCE WITH THE ENTIRE BAR DISCONNECTED AND REMOVED

I had a similar problem While driving the ranger down the road, my passenger side end link busted, the truck went down about an inch and a half lower than the driver side. Then the truck set crooked.
My end links have ALWAYS been bent since I lowered the truck, the sway bar and control arm wont line the end links up straight at all. And with the extreme levels of change with an airbag setup, I dont see how they could.
I just removed the sway bar.
