I just realized that that there are two different I beams From DJM one for 1983-1988 and then one for 1989-1997 What is the difference between these. And could you use the ones for a 1989 on a 1984 and How.

On the early trucks the ball joints are in the beam and the newer ones have the ball joint in the spindle. To use the newer style beams you will need the spindles as well. As far as I know the calipers are the same but the rotor might be different too.

So everything everything else is the same. like length of I beam Monuting point is the same. Also if i use the newer ones I Would can get 3.5 degree aligment bushings, Right. To help with aligment since i am bagging it. Newstylecustoms I see you in Indianapolis, I just moved from anderson IN. 2 Years ago. I am in IN. at least Once a month

Basicaly what I was told is you need to swap the entire beam and everything attached. "brakes, caliper spindles etc...
As far as bagging and alignment go if you are bagging it at the same time get it all done and raise it to where you wanna ride "usually about a 5 inch drop in front" and get it aligned. You may need a 3 degree shim you may not.
