Tiger51 Nov 20 2003, 02:44pm The tech guys said they took it off to hook up to the OBD/II port...somethign about the pulses messing it up, I thought it was BS, but oh-well. At least they left the flasher in mt console and rewired the light up instead of just cutting wires. Go to autozone and just get a regular ol 12v flasher, probably over where they sell light bulbs. Take your third light down, and cut the green wire going to the brake light. Hook one end up to the flasher (from the cab) using a spade conenctor, and hook the other end (from teh bulb housing) using a spade conenctor. That should be all there is to it. Keep in mind I did this about 4-5 years ago and I'm trying to remember exactly what I did.. OneLowRanger Nov 20 2003, 02:44pm mine flashed everytime I hit the brake pedal. although I never tried it, I imagine that the faster I can repeatedly press the pedal, the faster it flashed. :nixweiss: I wonder if I could press the pedal on the focus and make the light flash. hmmmmmmmm......damn, its hard to press the pedal and look at the back of your vehicle at the same time. People who wire up their campershell brake light to their brake/turn bulb combined... Works fine with the brake, but then you put on the turn siginal and the damned 3rd brake flashes with it!
