Well, my gfriend's mom has a pt cruiser, and i rode in it tonite. I was looking at the temp/compass unit from it. I think that would work well in our rangers. It isnt really long and contoured like the xplorer one. it is probably less than the diameter of a coffee can. And the contour of the headliner looks real similar to our rangers. . . . It also has two courtesy lamps in it. . food for thought. Anyone who has a relative or friend with one, or just has access to one,check it out, see if you agree with me. . .
