Heres a quick question.... A couple of weeks ago I was having a problem with my voltage reg sticking on...... well one night I was playing around and got my RPMs way up and all of a sudden my headlights got really really bright "they were on high beam" and then they went out, both of them..... I Flicked the dimmer switch to low beams and they worked, but high beams did not.... Do you think I blew both of the bulbs at the same time? Like I said my voltage reg was sticking at the time, so Im sure they were over juiced..... Its sucks not having no high beams, any *light* you can shine on this would be awesome. Oh and yes I did replace the alternator.

Well, this sticking on and off thing doesn't make any sense. It's not something that gets turned on and off or can get "stuck".

If you went overvoltage, yes, it can and will burn out the light bulb filiment and your lucky thats all that got toasted.

If the switch is the same as the 94 combo turn, blinker, flash-to-pass/high beams switch, then there is a wire that comes out of the switch that goes to the high beams... none of the headlights are fused prior to 95 (see sig), hopefully you didn't fry a wire... If you did you may be looking at replacing a lot of wires and a lot of pain in the ass work. Or it might have messed up the switch. GL to you, hopefully just the headlights :(
