1. Are you allowed to have such a device(s)?
2. What color restrictions do you have because that will dicate what you can flash in the back if anything.
I can help you, I've done just about every possible warning device known to man on my '03, as well as the former '91, and my '84. But I need to know that this is all legit first. No offense, but this question was asked last week and when I asked if there was a legitimate reason, the person disappeared. Now you are asking and it is your first post so I am just being cautious. I'll send you a PM as well.

No air box mod. I sent you a PM on the lights. Sorry the wig wag one isn't as nitty gritty detailed as I wanted but the PM character limit is so short, I couldn't. Reply or email me with anything you need.

Yea, pulling the headlight out is going to be the easiest way to do it. You'll be able to get to the wires really easy that way.

When I added it to my 2000, I didn't remove the light fixture. It was a PITA. But I was able to do it fine. I dont know what flasher you have, but check out galls wiring diagrams http://www.galls.com/techsupport.html#wiring They should have a diagram for the model you have.
