I've seen a pic of someone on here that has a laptop mount within comfortable reach for the driver, but I can't for the life of me remember who it is. If y'all can help me out i'd appreciate it

FireRanger Dec 03 2003, 07:35am Thank you, thank you, thank you. It is a JottoDesk 5167 Model laptop mount. http://www.adventuregps.com/main_jot.php. You can attach the laptop with velco or the straps it comes with. There are other models with cable locks and such and you can order various size decks. It can move up and down, in and out, spin, and tilt. Very cool! I also ordered this http://www.gps4fun.com/del_earth.php. This is a GPS reciever for the laptop and it comes with Delome Street Atlas 2003. Turn by Turn navigation, radar for upcoming fuel and rest stops, speed, heading, etc etc. Also REALLY cool. The thing even talk to you. It will say "Turn left on Highway 9 approaching in 1.5 miles, approximately 1 minute." It also has a voice recognition where you can ask it what your next turn is or how fast your going. Add onto all of this, the USB cable to connect the laptop to your cell phone and wham, 128k/sec internet connection. |
