ok this is prob overkilled already but i have to ask! i have the opertunity to get an 76 cobra 2 rolling chassie for nothing, and was wondering how hard it would be to hack off the front frame from the m2 and weld it into my b2? are the frames the same width? if it would work do they have 5 lug rotors for that setup? the main reason i want to get info for this is, its easyer to lay up front with a arms then it is with beams! any info anyone can trough at me would be greatly apreasiated!

Its been done to Rangers before...acutally, I think they just adapted the MII suspension 'beam' to the Ranger frame.

Yea I remeber a picture floating around the board of someone who did the conversion. It looked real nice.

please dont fill a cobra2 roller for the front suspension!
sell the car to someone who will care for it, then use that money to but a kit. there are lots of aftermarket mII suspension kits out there.

Which would actually be better suited to what you're wanting to do anyway. If you don't feel optimistic about being able to sell it, I believe its GAHeath on the boards here who's our resident MII enthusiast, and he can probably find some people who'd be very interested in the car...
