ok i shaved my door handles and i installed 35lb solenoids to pop the dor well eveything was workin great untill we were welding the plate on the door and forgot to disconnect the battery well when the welder hit the door the solenoid popped the door open so now the solenoid works and pops when the dore is open but once i close it and hit the unlock button it doesnt work but my passenger side does as usual and help is much appreciated

sounds like a ground problem w/the solenoid...how do you have them grounded?

I had a similar problem with my pass. side solenoid. The Autoloc solenoids are supposed to ground through the mounting bracket, but I had to run a seperate ground off the solenoid itself for them to work right.

i had to make out of sheet metal i think 16gauge a piece to mount the solenoid and i have the ground running there mounted and screwed in with one of the mounting bolts-
