i pulled a rear sway bar out of a BII about a year ago its in really good condition and bushings look new and i plan on putting it on my 97 mazda, i matched everything up and it fits!! now installion is the hard part cuz it looks like i have to drop the gas tank to attatch the driver side support bar but i was wondering if there was an easier way to do it with out droppin the tank...ive dropped the tank on my buddies '92 so ill do it if i have to let me know anything though please

Put a piece of tape over one side of box end wrench, then put the nut in the other side. This'll hold the nut in place so you can slide the wrench into the frame rail between the frame and tank and allow you to get the bolt started.

My '01 Supercab has more clearance between the frame rail and the tank than the earlier trucks. I put a swaybar on a '95 Std Cab this past weekend and it was real tight. But with patience I was able to get the nut and washer on the bolt using my fingers.
If you have short fingers or fat hands it won't work and it seems that dropping the tank is the only way to get in there.
