What did you use to get it polished?

Just sanded off all the texturey stuff, then made a buffer.
to make buffer, get a aluminum buffing pad from a truck shop rent a HUGE angle grinder, then put the buffing pad on it, get some buffing sticks, and polish that baby!

It's like a mirror, excpet where the tb goes on. couldn't get the buffer in there...Shaved off the #'s on the side, and those ugly bumps, and the casting lines off the top.

That was one of the things that I had planned on doing when I was thinking about keeping my 2.9. Cept I was gonna paint the intake blue, and then polish it where it says 2.9 EFI.

that is awesome maybe when i get my truck running and getting correct gas milage, and trans shifting i can do that one day lol really nice seen it couple days ago went to see again and gone lol otherwise it was great
