I am about to get my 92 V8 running and I know traction will be a major issue. Right now I have a 4" drop in the rear using a flip kit. I plan to weld spring perches to the axle to get away from the flip kit and get the correct pinion angle back.

I have heard others mention different rear leaf springs. I thought I had read something about them being made out of fiberglass. If memory serves, these were supposed to help straight line traction. I was hoping I could use something like this with lift bars or mabey ladder bars.

Has anyone ever heard of these springs or know where I can go for info on them?

Hypercoil, I believe, is a pretty serious manufacturer of fiberglass leaf springs and there is another one that covers nearly all light truck applications that I can't seem to remember now. Do a web search for fiberglass leaf springs and it should bring them up.
