I found a part I need for my truck and the guy lives there but he won't ship it. I was wnodering if I could get someone near there to get it for me then ship it down to me.

Is it something big or what?

shelby and shelby township are 2 diff places shelby township is north of Utica and Sterling heights over here on the East side. What kind of part is it??? Its like 20 min from my house i could prob hook you up.

It's a plastic bumper pad that goes on top of an F-150 front bumper like the pic below. I need a silver one and can't find it, so either I'd have to buy one of the other colored ones and have it painted or buy from this dude and somehow get it here since he won't ship.

HMMMM, it looks long, too long to ship UPS or FedEX and shipping it freight would be $$$... Maybe he wont ship it cuz they wont take it. I would probably look around some more. For what it would cost to buy and ship you could probably get a new one from the dealer???

sorry to butt in here, but people ship bumpers all the time. That's definitely not too long to ship via UPS

you sure about that? i tried to ship a punching bag a couple months ago, and they refused it b/c of size. they may have changed their guidlines. i'd get the exact dimensions and ask ups directly. ;)

I used to ship boxes of piano hinges 8' long via UPS. Rough dimensions were 12" X 12" X 100". They'll take a 6' bumper trim.

You ship it UPS Oversized and it normally takes care of it all. There are full cat back exhaust system shipped through UPS oversized. Just what I noticed when I was applying and taking tours at the UPS shipping facility. There were a lot of huge things coming through, they just went through oversized.
