I have a 93 2.3l ext. cab ranger. Its got cute little 14" rims. Any suggestions on a cool little lift? I dont know THAT much about lifts, but i understand how they work. Could i just put a posi-lock gear in the back? I was just wondering what people think about lifted 2wd. Is it worth it, or should i just save the money for a 4x4.
Thanks guys,
Eli

if you like your truck and want to keep it for a while y not lift it,it makes as much sense as lowering it.A trac lock in the rear will help out alot. A body lift is the cheapest way to get some lift and 3" suspension lifts for 2wd's start at around $300

it depends, a 2wd will get you most places you want to go offroad, but you will probably get the itch for offroading later on and wish you had a 4x4. If your truck has sentimental value, keep it, if not, I would get a 4x4.

its not an itch, its more like a rash~! haha, but im also planning on a from axle swap, to make the beast a 4x4. i think a 4wd 2.3L would be wicked, but i posted about that conversion alittle up the forum. check it out.
