is there any difference between the 01 and 03 explorer sports? and is the the 03 the last year they are making them? why? they seem popular.

I have an '01 sport and as far as I know they are all pretty much the same.
Yes, '03 is/was the last year for the 2-door sport model. I have no idea why they are killing it off, seems popular to me too, ya see them everywhere. But they are still making the sport trac.:nixweiss:

IMO I think it is probably because of the roll-over issue. I think that is possibly the problem.

Yup 03' is the last year, I was told at the dealership, that since they have the sport trac and the excape. There is no longer a market for the 2-door sport. Also they only made a few minor changes in the interior of the 03's.

I see a lot of them driving around, and I really like my 01...
