My 97 explorer has a 4.0 SOHC and a flowmaster 50 series, and I smoked my gf's 97 mountaineer that has a 5.0 and a flows system.

If it's a stock 5.0, it will wipe yer azz. If it's a modded 5.0 it'll wipe your azz to your nose. 97exp I think your GF let you win. She wouldn't want to damage the man hood.
