Finally got the GTech back tonight. I haven't run my truck on it in several months.

Previous best: 15.47@88 (or 89, forgot which)
Mods: K&N drop in filter, opened up stock air box, Superchip, Flowmaster
Note: I was by myself and this was about January so it was pretty cold out. I'd say 40s if I remember correctly.

I've run a few times since then and I've struggled to get a 15.6-15.7. I've only seen that 15.47 once. I'd say my average GTech run is right around 15.7.

Tonight: 15.35@92
Mods: all above plus Bassani Hi-flo cat and twin electric fans.
Note: I hadn't really set out to break my previous time. A friend was with me and I had just got my GTech back so we were like what the heck. It was also about 80degrees down here too.

All in all I was quite impressed. I was hoping to maybe knock a few tenths off my 15.6-15.7 time but I did that and more... even with someone else in the truck with me! woohoo!

it is a accelerometer. It attaches to your windshield like a radar detector, and measures 1/4mile times, HP # based on times, 60-0 stopping distances. It can also measure G forces in corners, and acceleration, and some other stuff. Its pretty cool, and it only cost $140.00

RSplash: I bought the Bassani from RaceSearch.net for cough$230cough. I know thats pretty expensive but when I bought it, they told me it came with a y-pipe too. It's nothin more than a hi-flo cat that is a direct bolt-in. VERY nice fit and finish. Sounds AWESOME with the Flowmaster too.

Ranger4oh: I have been to a real dragstrip several times and I've even ran the GTech at the same time. My last time at the track, I only could run a 16.0. That was some time ago. I've done a few more things since then, hehe. The GTech was a consistant .2 faster than the track time. I'd run a 16.1 it would say, 15.9. I'd run a 16.0, it would say 15.8. With all that said, my runs last night would lead me to believe I could run a fairly solid mid 15 at the track.

SWEEEEET!!!! 15.3's + NOS = faster than my 14.5's :bawl: ...hehe, that is real cool though. Now you just need the BBK T-body, the MAF, and the NOS...13's for you... I will be right behind you :)
