I have a 2002 4x4 edge and was wondering if it was worth replacing the shocks on it. I have about 31K on it.

I was looking at Koni adjustable shocks?
Anyone have any experience with them or adjustable shocks in general?
Would they be worth the money to replace the front and rear and what benefits would I get?
thanks

since you have a 4x4 i would go with Rancho RS9000X 9 way adjustable shocks. I am going to go with them when i replace them on my 2wd. I think they are around the same price or cheaper than Konis. from 4wheelparts.com they are $252 for all 4. They also make a kit so you can adjust all 4 shocks inside the cab.

The concept of adjustable shocks in general is a great idea. I have Koni's on my 97, however I agree that the other model may serve you better for a 4 wheel drive scenario if for only one reason. The ability to change adjustments from the cab. The Koni's have to removed from the vehicle and reinstalled to make any adjustments.

Don't get me wrong, I would not trade my shocks for anything. My truck is a hot rod (in progress) and I do not need to make adjustments for different terrain and conditions.

Good luck on your build!
