This is going to be a good meet, but we need to have one at a later time this year cause there are more than a few guys bustin ass to get their trucks back together for the show season (I would assume). I will be there for sure, but we need to have a meet later in the year for sure so everyone can sport their trucks they busted ass to build.

I probably won't be there now. Gotta finish shaving a guys taillights, molding roll pan, finishing leds. Things like that to his truck.

So were at 17 on the board.. And I was One Tele - Joy rd last night for the drag races.. And Another guy was there and mentioned he had 3-4 buddies coming with trucks soo were looking good.. Something like 20ish truck!! Hope all of you Make it, If so i think we'll Have one of the biggest meets on RPS...

Ok my truck is cleaned and detailed ready for the weekend. It will sitting in the garage all week away from the nasty weather and rain that is expected. Any forecast for the weekend yet??

Who knows. I am heading back from school on thursday night so I can detail the inside (it's a shade of flint mud, and reeks of smoke) of the truck and polish/wax the outside.

I'll try to remember to bring my camera. Then I'll have to figure out how to finally post some pics. I'm gonna try to get my truck cleaned on Friday and hopefully the rain is done by then. It won't be perfect but it will be alot cleaner then it is right now. I got overspray all over the cab when i painted the frame and don't have the time or the weather to wax it right now.

I got a nice camera and will charge my batteries and take pics..i'm sure a buncha people will bring cameras...I can post them too.

2 1/2 more days... So theres a good 30 of us that post on the boards from michigan, Sure theres more. But we got a rough idea that 22ish Trucks will be showing up.. Thats Awesome.. Just wish the weather was nice this week. My truck looks like **** cause i couldn't get it waxed and it wasn't warm enough to finish painting my interior.:(

Im heading across the state tonight so I can start cleaning tommorow morning. Hopefully it wont rain saturday.

I can't make it. I have to work on Saturday(just found out I'm being forced in). I work afternoons so there not enough time to go from Imlay City to Brighton and then back to Romeo. Besides the truck still in the barn anyway.
Maybe next meet we can have on a Sunday afternoon. They can't force me to work on a Sunday.

I don't know if I am going to be able to make it now. I got my suspension drop on my truck, BUT Belle Tire made me wait around for two god damn hours to tell me that it would be a two hour job, they can't use my parts, it's $80 a side to install the washers, and it's another $50 just for the alignment. I got a negative camber, and they were like it's huge, it's about 2 degrees.

The guy who put my drop on didn't put the bolts and washers on cause they would have had to basically been removed again just to get the right camber. So, I do not want to drive the truck too much or two far until I got my Alignment installed. I am looking around right now and I am going to call Dearborn Total Automotive and Rony's Body Shop tomorrow to see what they would charge me and how long it would take to do the install. I guess they gotta remove the control are and sh*t again so that they can install these damn bolts and washers, and they might not even be the right ones for the application.

I am just really frustrated and I really wunt to make it out to the meet, but I am not spending $200+ on an alignment from Belle Tire when they have no concept. If anyone else around here knows where I can get my front aligned for a DECENT price, that will use the Belltech Alignment kit that I have sitting here. Feel free to PM me or contact me on AIM, because I really want to make it out to the meet and have this all done right!!!!!!

Sorry for the long ass rant, but it's been a ****ty day. The drop does look tight as hell though, now it's just a matter of getting the front end aligned correctly for hopefully under like $200, if not then hell just let me know of a place that is actually good at what they do.

Its an easy install why are you gonna drop 80 a side when its 15mins a side in the back and 30 in the front.. also YOU can drive on negative camber all of us that are bagged do it every day.. in my eyes you got no excuse man.. SO ROLL THAT THING!!!! not meaning to be an ass but your getting a load of **** from belle tire... HOPE you make it and

Oh well i think he's basically saying never take your ride to a "generic" garage if you want it done properly and cheaply. they always rip you off. heck I learned my lesson. everythig's done in my garage from now on. B/c i've Done the same thing and PAID up the butt to get it fixed!!! if you go custom your 9 times out of 10 better off trying it yourself b/c odds are thats one of the first, if not the first they have done it... And they mess things up and later down the road your paying more then what was really needed at all...

96 blue check your starter wire and starter solenoid. Or tow it to the meet and let some of us take a look at it. By the way I washed my truck today and i hope the weather stays nice for tomorrow. See you all there. NATE

I stayed up late last night and waxed the truck for tomorrow. I tried Zymoz wax and it is the best wax I've ever used. My truck looks brand new. See you guys tomorrow.

Yea sorry I flipped guys, I just had a really ****ty day yesterday. I called around and spent some cash getting my truck aligned properly at Downriver Alignment, they were really cool to me, and the Belltech Kit didn't work for my truck so they had to put different washers on it. Like someone on another thread said the kit is kinda hit or miss, since with the 02 they decided to change little things.

My alignment isn't perfect, but there is only a small negative camber. It's to be expected with 3" drop coils up front so ah well. Again sorry to ya Chad bout' flippin' I just had a really f*ckin' bad day yesterday. I never want to step foot in another Belle Tire, I was just looking for an estimate there I didn't want them to do it. Then they flipped at me there saying all this garbage and whatnot.

I'm gunna make it, I just gotta wash my truck. Actually I need to scrub the hell outta the truck. It is a filthy vehicle, outside atleast. By the way I would never goto the Livonia FCA. I went there once just to look at stuff and the guys were jerks to me.

Well, I am going to be there tomorrow prolly around 12 or so. I might be rolling up there with krunk and his friend if all plays well. Later guys and sorry again bout flippin out like a jackass.

I'm definately goin. BTW, I forget who was askin about my 98 2.5 engine that I have for sale, were you still interested in it? Or is anyone else?? I'd pack it up in my bed if ya were and you could get it tomorrow. I'm askin 400 for the engine, without all the A/C stuff, and 500 with (compressor, condenser, evaporator core, accumulator/dryer canister, and all lines.)

The engine does need a wiring harness, and I took the cam and followers out thinking i was going to use it in my turbo swap, but found out later that I couldn't, so they'd have to be put back in.

Engine had 80k on it when I took it out.

Well it was a fun day. 370 mile round trip 40 bucks in gas and 10 in food. Good time . And dont say that it was to far away i made it back in 3 hours doing 90 the whole way pretty much. Hope to see some pics too.NATE
