well mechanic finally got back to me seems i burnt all the clucth disks, supposed to have rifges they were smooth, the bands had no phenoilc plastic i guess left on it so they were down to bare metal, and something i think he said outer drum or something was burned so bad it was colored blue they said if everything goes well ill have it by middle of next week just thought id give you guys an update how much should i expect for this trip seeing i already put $520 in the front of the trans? old man pays for it but still you knowthis mechanic got us in the hole almost $1000 and i dont know why the old man wants to keep goin back to him i hate him so .......

I thought the guy didn't know how to work on the A4LD?!! Now he's got her apart?! AHH!! No clue as to price, but at least you'll have your truck back. Them parts ever show up? maybe we should have just waited and sent them air, instead of ground....

hey the way i figure it is this is the last time well have to pay for trans work $500 front end and prolly same for rear dont knwo though then its on him. and as far as parts go there worth the wait so it dont matter i aont got truck anyway and i dont think the garage guy has tranny i think the pro does Cottman cause i went down there and it wasnt on the workbench nor in the truck

i got the parts thanks a million , truck transmission will be done no later than tuesday
