I've been reading and looking through threads and have gotten tons of great information in my decision on purchasing the Whipple or not.

2 things I have not seen.....

The main question: When driving your truck with the Whipple installed, can you hear it whine? Does it do it under partial throttle or only full throttle? This is more of a curiosity question but I love the sound of a SC under the hood so I hope you can hear it well.

The other question....I don't see any reason what so ever that this wouldn't work but on an 03 Mazda B3000, can anyone think of anything at all that would get in the way of a clean install on this Whipple?

i drove the test vehicle and you had no prob hearing it scream all time not to loud to where its in the way, but just enough to let people it there.

Well, actually you can't really hear it at all. I just got back from Orlando's FFW event and after driving threw the pits listening to all the Vortech's and other style superchargers its not a loud charger at all. It's actually the quietest supercharger on the market. If it's really quite and you nail it from idle then you can hear the air rushing into the intake but other then that its more like a loud power steering pump.

As for the 03' Mazda's I'm not certain. Let me ask you a few questions.

First, do you have an EGR valve?

Second, How many UPPER intake to LOWER intake manifold bolts do you have?

Third, how many wires do you have going into the MAF sensor, 4 or 6.

These are just some of the main differences between the 02up ranger's and the 01 back. Another big question would be your computer programming and if they have the files on your truck. Depending on how serious you really are and if you have the correct answers to the above questions I can find out for you.

Well I'll check into your questions but mine should be the same as an 03 Ranger....to my knowledge anyway....haha, I thought the worst thing I'd have to worry about was hood clearance if the Mazda's is lower.

I havnt' checked but one thing but I do have 6 wires going to my MAF sensor and to my understanding, that's a good sign.

Also, can you try to describe what a loud power steering pump sounds like? haha I only know the ugly sound of one dieing on me. :) That and the sound it makes when you accedently steer into the stops.
