Just help me get through this mess

The only wiring you need to concern yourself with is the actual computer wiring. Go to www.helm.com and pick up an EVTM and or wiring diagram, you're looking for the computer pinout (the list of which pin goes to which sensor on the Ranger). Then read through this (http://www.rangerforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2432) post, make the computer connector in the Ranger match the Turbo computer, then plug everything up. :)

How do you find the diagram at helm...I don't understand that website?? And is the diagram you put up on the 88TC the same as an 87TC??

The 87 and 88 TCs used the same harness configuration, so yes that diagram will work for either.
