Got your attention?
Here is the deal...
Anyone in the Seattle area that is interested in having their pre-'02 3.0L backfitted with a Whipplecharger, order one up and drop me a note. It will take longer than the 2 hour install time listed in the instructions, but it can be done. Practically every issue has been covered, there is, of course, Murphy's Law to factor in.
So, if you are ready, let me know...
Extra items:
Ford Motorcraft MAF harness: $49.00
Injector harnesses: Vary, but cheap (not required for FFV!)
Wire: >$10
Custom chip burn: ~$225 for vehicles that can't be flashed
Labor: $0
You pay actual installation costs for the items needed, nothing more. It doesn't get any easier (until backfit kits are out anyway...).
For less than the original purchase price of a TKT "Frankencharger", you can have a Whipple installed.

The purpose is to document the install process and make an installation page here at RPS.

Who's ready?

Who's ready?

Any help I can be of be sure to ask. I got plenty of TPS and IAC connectors to help out to. As for the injector connectors do you mean using ther FFV's 25's or the Whipple kit's 23's? The 23's still have a different connector then the 25's.

Brian isn't with Apten anymore. You may want to call them.
Not required for FFV becasue the 23 and 25.3lb injectors should be close enough to work with no changes (ECU can adjust 10-15%).
Thanks for the offer!

Couldn't you go with an aftermarket maf like pro flow so you don't have to change the maf wiring. I only ask this because i have a 75mm pro flow sitting now. How's the rollor rockers coming.
