I picked up a pair of 15x7 Teardrop rims for an explorer. I have a 97 standard cab 2wd stock level truck. What I want to do is basically fill up as much gap as possible. I have been looking at the BF Goodrich tires. I like the white lettering!! :) Well more importantly, I live in Minnesota so I need something that I can use all season. I would like a somewhat aggressive tread. I need these to work on the freeway and in the snow, hopefully rain too.. we seem to see it all here. I would like a comfortable ride quality also. I am just having a hard time picking a model and a size. What can I do.. any ideas?

I have the same truck as you and heres what I am going to do this summer. Im going to get 31 x10.5 BF Goodrich AT. Those are great tires and you should get them for $100-110 each. Also some leveling coils. I will be using a 15x8 rim though. Hmm for the 15x7 you should be able to go for a 31 x10.5 . Those should be about $115 or so. Hope that helps. I would reccomend getting leveling coils if you wanna get a 31. I dont think you necisarry need the leveling coils for a 31, but it would help because the front is where any rubbing would be. My advice go down to the tire store, bring your wheels and ask them if they will test fit the wheels and tires on your truck. Oh yah post some pics when you do get your truck.( if you can)
