I have not clue in this field, but is it possible to upgrade to a V8 in a 1993 Ranger 2.3L engine? And is so does anyone know how much this would run me?

1.1 Anywhere from $4,000 on up to over $15,000, depending on what parts are used, how much money you put into the engine itself, what custom wiring harnesses, if any, are used, and how much you do yourself etc... The best starting point is with a complete donor vehicle, you will want the entire engine, transmission, wiring harnesses, computer and all sensors. This route will save you money down the road, as getting these little bits and pieces will add up over the course of an engine swap and the more parts you start out with, the less you'll have to buy from the parts counter later.

That's cool!! Do you know some where i can order an engine and everything? Maybe even a racing engine, I kinda wanted to stick with a bigger engine that would make my truck alot faster.

Yeah you can order crate motors from SVT or get a Fast Ford & Mustang mag there are alot of adds for stroker motors and such.
