What is the best way to at least get a sub setup of at least 2 10 inch subs in a 95 standard cab without losing a whole lot of space in the cab?

hey man, well you can make a box that goes from one end of the cab to the other and it should have enough airspace, but yo'd have to have the amps under the seats or mounted on the box. If you have a fioberglass box you could just put them in there, youd be surprised how well the sound quality is

or you could do a cab cutout!

Audio Enhancers makes a 2 10 box especially for regualar cab Rangers with an amp rack in the center. Its even angled on the ends to accomadate the stock speakers.

Hey 99, is this the box your talking about ????? http://www.audioenhancers.com/new/newpages/B-MAZ.htm

It doesn't list any prices but it does give a number you can call and maybe they'll help you find a listing for a dealer near you. Here's their main page as well, http://www.audioenhancers.com/default.htm

Later !

Well, yes and no. That is who makes the box I was referring to,but, the one shown isn`t the one I was talking about. The one they`re showing doesn`t have the amp rack for some reason, but best I can tell the dimensions are the same. I can call audio enhancers and see if I can get ya`ll a deal on a couple of those boxes if ya like.

Assuming I don't lose a whole lot of room, I'm interested!

Ya I know what you mean. When I was looking at the picture it looks like the spot for the amp is there but it's facing the rear of the truck not the front. That wouldn't do ya much good if you wanta show off the amp and it also wouldn't do a whole lot of good for the cooling of the amp. I don't need a box but I'm sure the other guys here would love to know how much they are and if you can get them a deal on one.

Thanks for the reply.
Gerry

PS. I'd post a picture of my sub box but the file's to large and I don't know how to make it smaller.

Hey gerry, email me that pic and I can shrink it down,or just go over to www.photopoint.com and open an account.

As for the price,it`ll be the end of next week before I talk to AE again, but I`ll see what I can come up with for those who are interested.

I would just do a bed cut and save all the room. Worked fine for me. Local shop charged me $200 to cut and seal it with a boot and I did the rest.;) 3-12" Kicker Comp VR's with a ZR240 and ZR120 for highs. :smoke:

Say Skee, where did you go to get that done I would love that in my truck. I live in Killeen about 3 hrs away from Arlington, so I can drive up there and get it done.

Thanks

I had Autosound on Cooper St. in Arlington cut the bed out and seal it with a boot, but like I said I built the box and installed everything myself. Also need a bed cover or a spray in liner over the box. Also a word of advice when you install the box drill a couple of holes in the box and through the bed for bolts. These bolts will assure that if anybody takes your box they have to take the whole bed.;) I will try to post some pics of the setup and amprack.:pimp:
