My god!!! Did it still hold air?? THats among the worst damaged rim ive seen, and Ive seen quiet a few of them at work.

that makes my rims hurt. Your supposed to avoid the big ones. How big of whole was it, i hit one at 55mph that was at least 4 inches deep and a foot in diameter, i hate driving around here at night.

damn that is a pretty big bend in the rim. Where did you have it fixed at. That is the reason I have 50 series tires.

I couldn`t believe it did..a place called Star Tire fixed it....

I worry about doing that all the time with my 225/40 tires. I love the profile, but I probably should of went to the 45 series. Did you still keep your 40 series tires? Your lucky that they were able to fix it and it was a lot cheaper then buying a new rim.
