I went from 215-70-14s to 255-70-15s so I gained over 2 inches in tire heigth. I have a 4 popper and a 5 speed, You might as well say I lost 5th gear. I went out today and bought a 4.10 with limited slip. What a difference!! My old gears were 3.45s and the truck was always a dog. It.s fun to drive now. The rears are easy to change the hardest thing is the E-Brake cable. I would recomoned this swap to anyone with a 4 banger. It makes it a whole different truck.

ohh man do I envy you now...I'm not gonna have the $$$ to do this for awhile and it's already long overdue on my truck. 31's with 3:73's suck!

Don't be whining. Your 31's with 3.73s are like having 29's with 3.55, and I have 29's with 3.27, so I've got a sucky set-up. When I get 31's I'll be upgrading to 3.73.
