Thats a guy in town. Sold off the the turbo setup in the car and built a new one witha 101mm turbo. Just dynoed 845 at the wheels. And thats just at 19 psi. Looking to run another 6 pounds on that. Dynoed 590 when he ran the busa.

nice mustang but a stock busa is like 9.8 or something in the 1/4..if this one has nitrous shouldn't it be a little closer than that if not beat the mustang. just my thoughts

Thats 590 rwhp, whereas the busa is crank hp. Also, it happened at 3500 feet, so the power of the busa is less than what it would be at sealevel.

busa is faster in the top end than it is off the start and they run a 9.8 stock and will eat a 500-600hp mustang...i cant watch the video cause my computer will freeze :(

yeah, but look at the busa's riding, his shifts dont seem very smooth, at least that is how i see it in the video....and there is only so much nitrous u can put on a busa before it becomes dangerous.....

i think the stang let up, the mustang was a bit a head, and the busa all of a sudden was next to him, so im thinking the race was over and the mustang let off....

THat was not a 590 hp mustang. he might have done 590 on the dyno, but he had more than that.

only god knows who was driving that busa...

THAT STANG WAS CRAZY come on it pulled a busa...not many cars can pull any moto....stang had him by alot...it is a drag race not about top speed yea the busa would have had him if it was top speed....BUT DAMN

That Busa should have eaten that stang. Especially if it has nitrous. The wieght ratio has a serious amount to do with it. Now you add the nitrous. No way. It should've handed that stang on a platter.. My guess is that guy was either afraid to really push it or he doesn't know that bike as good as he thinks he does.

the stang is a LOW 9 second stang.....nitrous doesnt drop ur ET down THAT much when u cant put it to the ground....and ur not hitting the nitrous off the line, its down the track....

That stang was runnign mid-9's at 140+ mph when that happened, he's now in the low 8's with conservative boost, 7's are easily attainable.

agreed, my friend has a supercharged SS camaro that has 570 hp and would run mid to low 11's depending on the conditions. 20 hp isnt going to drop it into the 9 second range.

I don't want to rub anyones feathers here by offending you but it is obvious you don't know very much about drag racing, Horsepower is insignificant in drag racing, torque is where it happens. Now a turbo mustang is deadly, massive torque and top end power to boot. You don't even have to have 550 rwhp to hit 9's, its all in the torque and top end. HP is just a number. You should see the TT mustangs they are spitting out a modular power house.

yeah but mph is where its at on the street, especially against bikes, especially against hyabusa's.

plus if you hear the guy in the background, hes complaining about the rider hitting the rev limiter. after watching it again, you can hear it rrrrriiiininininini(lol i tried), he goes past redline each gear
