my folks just bought a 2004 explorer eddie bauer with the 4.6L V8. My dad wants to add a FIPK (since he loves his on his F150 and I love mine on my Ranger)...but i see K&N doesnt list any for 2004 yet...only 2003...does anybody know if the kit from 2003 will work? We do not have to worry about emissions testing...

As far as I know there is no difference between the 03' and 04' models.

No, 2004 has the MAF integrated into the airbox, though a solution is in the works.
