I am sick of getting stopped at 92 MPH when racing with s-10s and rice boys that need to be passed on the highway. so I was wondering what the best chip is to install. I have heard some bad things about superchip. but that is about all I know.

I am looking for the best bang for my buck. getting more HP isn't my biggest concern, but would be nice. I mostly want the speed limiter to go away.

i've heard amazig things about the superchip (www.superchips.com) because instead of making adjustments just at WOT it adjusts itself throughout the powerband... whereas jet chips are only really effective at WOT. i've heard diablo chips are starting to make some noise now too though

OK, the voice of experience here...

DIABLO - SUCKS big time!! I installed one and it felt like I was driving up hill with the e-brake on while towing a 6000 pound trailer! Obviously they got the programming all wrong. I'm still waiting to hear back from them (6 months later...)

Superchips - These are the best! I got one and ran it for a little while and it was a hoot! Very noticeable gains across the board. I started to develop a little pinging and contacted them. They reburned a new chip and sent it to me. I installed it and the pinging went away and the performance is still there. These guys really have their $hit together. (I still need to send them back the first chip...)

Your best investment will be to go with a Superchip!

P.S. The speed limiter is all gone on my truck since the addition of the chip...:nuts: . Just tell them and they remove it or move it up, same with your Rev limiter...just BE CAREFUL! Later -
