I heard the dude went back and bought it the next day. Unless somehow they staged that entire thing, that salesmen was a complete moron for letting the guy test drive it without even having a license.

These kinds of things have to be a concern for the dealer, even if the person has a license. How are they to know if the person is interested in the car or just wants to take it for a joyride.

alot of dealers on the higher end cars do a credit check or take out a security fee before they let you test drive higher end cars.. i worked at a luxury dealership way back when and we had a lotus espirit TT and the only way you could take it out was with a 1000$ security deposit, and the salesman ALWAYS went with you... some places require credit checks before you test drive like the new c6s i think they do a report to make sure your even worthy of the car

land rover requires 2 form of ID... no credit check

ferrari dealership, required 2 appointments before you could get in the car, a deposit, 2 forms of ID, and a whole host of other criteria. you get what you pay for

some salesmen do deserve that but... he's a little slow for letting some guy just ask for a testdrive and not getting a licence. funny... but the guy's a d!ck for doing that... dont matter how much salesmen are slime-baggs... most of the time.

haha that was great... i also have to comment on the golf carts taco thats awesome... me and my friend went and test drove a z28 camaro once and it was awesome bout the same results without the destruction of the car of course... haha and a group of my friends went and tested the 350zs when they came out and the dealers actually let them take two cars out alone and test drive them it was awesome watching them race down the road... haha some people are just morons....

My initial reaction is to say that if it was me, I'd have put my fist right through that dude's grille as soon as he exited the veh. But then, thinking about it from the salesman's point of view (assuming this wasn't staged), if the dude's that crazy, you'd have to worry about whether one or both of them had any weapons. Plus, you can't do anything from the passenger seat with the guy's friend sitting right behind you, too vulnerable a position. If I was that salesman, I'd have pulled my cell out of my pocket and called a co-worker at the dealership, told him where we were, and once the punk driving starts riffing, I'd calmly tell him that if he doesn't return to the lot immediately (at the proper speed), that I'd have my co-worker notify the police.

But seriously, I'd have kicked him in the balls so hard he'd taste peanutbutter.
