maybe i'm just missing it, but can you still subscribe to specific forums so they will show up in the user control panel?



also having a problem with cookies keeping me logged in everytime i leave the site.

When looking at the forum, look for 'Forum Tools' and that will bring down a drop menu with that option.

If you want to subscribe to a thread it is under 'Thread Tools' which appears in the same spot inside the thread.

As for the cookie problem, I am having that problem too with Firefox. I'm using 1.0 RC2 right now. I try with any other browser and it works fine, stays logged in. What browser are you using?

FYI, I get the same problem with Firefox. I'm using 0.9.2 at work, and 1.0 at home.

It's working fine for me now. I made one change to the cookie settings, logged out, cleared the cookies from my browser, and logged back in and it was fine. Closed it 3 times and it stayed logged in.

Upped the timeout from 15 to 20 minutes, but that wouldn't have any effect on staying logged in. That keeps track of your activity and after a set time period of no activity, it will mark all the boards as 'read' and no longer show you as been online.

Dunno why but sometimes altering the cookie settings a little bit helps problems like this.

thanks Matt, i finally figured it out. subscribed to all my old forums from before the switch.


also cleared my cookies, and haven't had any problems so far with staying logged in. maybe the computer was recognizing the cookies from the old board and the new or something.

Fixed it for me too.
