I had to replace the bushings in my mazda M5OD awhile back, and while doing it, was able to get the part numbers, and a break down diagram, so I figured I would put it here

Here they are:

1L2Z-7Z120-AA, 2 req'd
1L2Z-7277-AA, 1 req'd
1L2Z-7228-AA, 2 req'd
E8TZ-7E018-A, 2 req'd

And here's a picture of how they all go together

Cost of these parts may vary from dealer to dealer. Total, for the 7 parts, cost me 111.64 + tax. Others have been able to get all 7 parts for as little as 60 or 70 dollars, so be aware that there seems to be a wide range on the price.

Sorry, I didnt see this question posted.

There will be a lot of slop & slack in the shifter, as the bushings start to go bad.

I am guessing this will work for my '94 4.0L 5spd. I need these to fix the slop in my shifting. And can I go to any parts store and use these numbers?

No, those are Ford part numbers, and unfortunately I doubt you'll find those parts anywhere but a Ford dealer. You might try looking on the internet for the various places that sell Ford parts, and see if you can get them cheaper there, instead of going to your local Ford dealer.

Go to this site

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?siteid=213787

I went through the catalog & searched the part numbers, but then the links didnt work. So just take the 4 part numbers I posted above, and put them into the search on that site, and it'll find the parts.

I did find that one of those part numbers has been superseded w/ a newer part number, but it still pulls it up using the part number above.

Looks like Bob Utter has pretty reasonable prices... the whole list was $62.50, shipped... lots less than the $111 that was mentioned...

Shift boot is required? lol...
I believe I need the metal shims that go on the shift lever also. Those things looked kinda mangled up. Don't see a part number though.

Ok, today I found out why the "shift boot" was needed.

Total for me was $88.19 from the dealer. They only had to order one part, and it will be here mid-day tommorow.

Being a noob to Ranger tech... please forgive my ignorance. But is this tranny used in the 94 Ranger Splash with the 2.3L engine?

And will these bushings cause the tranny to be hard to shift into every gear if they are worn? My previous 92 2.3L Ranger had the same sloppy shifter problem, but went into gear just fine. With my 94 I have to force it into gear it seems.

Thanks
