i have adjusted them by the book but they are still screaming. any advice on what to do?

By what book? What clearances did you use, and did you adjust them cold or hot?

The book said --INTAKE 0.14-----EXHAUST--0.16

I have a bubby that works for Ford when the 2.8 came out Ford said set them at---Intake 0.12----Exhaust---0.14 it will run great.A lot of people don't know this it's good to have bubby on the inside.

they should have some noise anyway, since its a solid lifter cam.But not crazy noisy.
