i was just wanting to know what most of you get with the 2.8 in mpg im getting 14 my truck is an 85 singlecab lwb 2wd auto. I have gotton 18 at best but it went down to 12 and i got a good deal on a better motor out of a 85 bronco 2 so i got that and put it in and im only getting 14 it came from a manual that was also a 4x4 would that be why im not getting good milage? also that is regardless of the way i drive pedle to the metal or grany driving thanx for the help

I have an 84 bronco 2 and i was getting 18 mpg now i only get about 11 with my hubs unlocked in the winter i'm not sure if it's because my carb needs to rebuilt or if it's just because it's colder out.

I have an '83 4x4 four speed and have gotten as good as 22 mpg all highway after the duraspark conversion. That was with an RV cam and compression raised by zero decking the block.

My 84 auto only gets 10mpg, now I have a 6 inch lift and 32s and I mpg has not changed.

I need a duraspark conversion, lol.
