I was just cruising around ebay where I stumbled on this: clicky (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33741&item=7954458275&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW) I never heard od anyone using the blower from the nissan b4 (not that I check up on the blown 4.0 ohv all that often) just curiouse if this has been done on here. (sorry if this is a repost, just figured I would add that lol)

I missed the ebay listings for this product, but have been talking with tom knight about the adapter. I already won an eaton M62, and am looking for either a a machine shop to do the work or to get one of his bolt on kits, which includes virtually everything (and welded) for about $2k.

Even at $3k total, its still cheaper then any other SC for the OHV i have found. I am not that knowlagable of engines, so this has been a royal; pain in the ass.

In any event I WILL be doing this implant into my truck, but need to learn more about it.

You can still get the new Paxton setups for the earlier Rangers for around $1600 - with a few mods, could be made to fit.

holy crap!!!! I think Brian can attest when i say that i haven't spent more then 700bucks for my M90 blower setup. even if you had to have someone MAKE your manifolds and blower outlets you STILL could be under a grand, especially on a non-intercooled setup.

I have had 8 different supercharger setups on my Rangers over the last 3 years and the only two that cost me over $1000 were the new Whipple I put on my 3.0 before I swapped in the 4.0 SOHC and when I bought the new MP90 from Magnuson a couple years ago.

However, you do have to have the tools and skill to build the brackets and manifold. My latest MP112 Lightning setup, including the 39# injectors, was under $1000 and I'm less than 7 HP away from 300 RWHP on a stock 4.0 SOHC. And, these Eatons are super reliable. Proper dyno tuning by Doug is key to getting the big numbers.

My next project is already underway ... another 4.0 SOHC, but this one is going to have ported heads, lower compression, more boost, headers ... lookout 350 RWHP here I come .... :smokin:

how different are the mounting locations for the OHV and SOHC?

i just cant seem to find a used supercharger or even a new one for the OHV. and ive read somewhere here that a member made a SOHC fit a OHV. how the hell would i do that?
