Okay, I've been procrastinating on getting this Paxton installed. What all do I need now to make it run a clean as possible. I'm looking at what I need for a safe install. The only thing I know I should get right away is the 190 fuel pump. Are boost gauges nessecary right away? MUst I changes injectors to 24, or can I change those down the road when I add headers, TB, and MAF? I'm just tired of this thing taking up space and I want it on my truck.

The Paxton kit was designed from the beginning to work with the factory components, so you should be fine with the 19# injectors as long as you use the Paxton FMU. Even with headers, MAF and TB, you should be fine until you add things like cam/ported heads. On the GT, I had all that with the 19# injectors and it ran great.

I've been told I am missing a a blow off valve from some dude at this mustang shop. Does anyone know where I can find one and if I truly need one? It sucks no one round here cares about blowing a ranger. I've been to five different places and they look at me like Im some sorta physcho wanting to blow a ranger instead of the normal fox body or gt. I think once I get the battery relocated I'll set up some sort step by step picture install over the time of the install and make sure you guys help me out step by step.

The setup from Paxton doesn't use a BOV - do you have the installation instructions for that thing? I can get you a copy if you need one.

Yeah you already sent me a copy, thanks again. I think what is confusing me is going to all these mustang places that don't know anything about a ranger getting different answers. I think I'll just search like a madman on RPS and install from there and take pictures when I'm done to make sure everything is in the correct spot. I think I'm overthinking this project. I've been quoted no lower than $1200 to install the blower and they won't let me drive off without a custom tune which is another 7-8 hundred. I think I'll keep it simple. Anybody have pictures of a battery relocated under the bed, thats what I gotta take of first.

Holly crap! For that much money I'll do it. I could afford to buy a plane ticket, a hotel room for a night or two and still make out well on that deal. Just read the instructions and follow them. You don't need the tune either unless you want to run larger injectors and ditch the FMU.

Paradise Wheels out in Ca. has a few left for the earlier Rangers and these could be adapted. The big problem is the ABS block on the Driver's fender and having to re-route the fuse block and the battery.
