View Full Version : ranger bumper cover fit?

hey guys, got in a wreck tonight and tryin to find ways to fix the truck up and save some money at the same time. does anybody know if a ranger bumper cover and valence will fit over the mazda bumper? mines has a few dents in it but i think its still strait. just bent the mounting brackets all up i think. oh also will ranger hoods fit?

I think I remember seeing on her that the covers and valence will fit with a little tweaking, like adding a hole or two for connectors. The Ranger hood should be a bolt on. The one on my 01 is even the same as the 99 Ranger I had, it doesn't have the Edge style hood.

Well I put the front fog valence from a ranger on my truck. The valence holes did not line up, so I had to drill some. I had to flex the valence slightly to get it to match the curves on my bumper. It was easy to flex the valence, I don't think it would be as easy for the bumper cover. Also look at where the valence matches up on my front bumper. I am pretty sure the valence matches up flat with the back edge of the ranger bumpers. This would have me worried that a cover may not wrap back far enough to cover the mazda bumper. Sorry I don't have YES/NO answers for you, just trying to help.
