I'm going to take full advantage of my Firestone recall credit and get some new sneakers for the ol' 4X4.
But since I'm taking full advantage I want to get the spare tire replaced too...
My question is this: Will a 31x10.5x15 tire fit in the under-bed carrier?
Any and all information would be appreciated.

p.s. - any recommendations on a 31" tire would be great, it's for a 4X4 but I stay mostly on the pavement.

I don't know if a 31" will fit in the spare carrier, but Im sure with some work it would :E

And for good tires, go with the BFG All-Terrains I have them and they are great tires, pretty good on the pavement, but still give you good traction off-road

you could get one of those kits that mounts the spare in the bed of the truck like a prerunner.

I think that an in bed holder would be the only way you could get a 31/10.50/15 to fit.

I dont think Ive ever seen a tire that big as a spare on anything smaller than an expidition or a high end F-150 (4x4, ext cab, 8 ft bed).
