View Full Version : Do you dare try?(56K beware)
Here's an awesome compilation of some rather horrific crashes from all forms of racing. For those willing to dare attempt the download, let's be courteous to the sites bandwidth, and Right click/ Save as. It's a mega huge 30 minute video that will take some time to download, but it's worth it.(It's in MPEG format) The sites server is made from eggshells, and has been known to crash without much warning. If you only get a portion of the video, just try again later. It usually depends on how many are trying to download at once.
If everyone likes this video, I have few others that are just as good, but are just as big. :o: It took me 6hrs to download this one and I have 300Kb DSL.(no cable in my area yet) :read: So for all of you dial-up owners, I say hit download, go to work, come home, eat, watch TV, go to bed, and it should be done by morning.:E
Here's the beast(520MB :o: )

five o ranger Apr 07 2005, 06:07am sorry to be a downer but i think its so wrong for people to make these kinds of vids and spread them all over the net,a guy on fire is a good thing?sorry but thats my opinion, admins can delete my post if necessary
[edit]bikini girls would be better for the younger people than this lol
I understand your sensitivity, but it must be made clear that there were NO fatalities in this video.(I didn't make the video BTW) Crashes, severe injuries, and even deaths are just a fact of life in the realm of racing. The video shows exactly what drivers from across the globe have to face every time they suit up.
The sheer amount of courage it must take to race these events amazes me. These individuals need a medal or something. :hail: They risk their lives every race just to bring us some entertainment, and they enjoy doing it. Sharing this video gives us a brief glimpse into that world of racing, and the reality that those drivers must face every race.
I thought by sharing we could begin to understand what it takes to be a 'real' race car driver.
rob78 Apr 07 2005, 11:51am Whats the name on that song in the beginning? Same song that was in Gone in 60sec
Jwad00 Apr 07 2005, 11:08pm I cant see it! I think my computer has spyware on it! :bawl:
At the speeds I'm currently getting, it will be done in one hour :D I like 3mbit cable
Edit- WHOA... my speed just jumped. I'm getting 300 kiloBYTES per second. Estimated DL time- less than it will take me to actually watch the vid.
Guess I could've streamed it just as well! haha!
done downloading... watching now. The song you speak of is Moby - Flower

CAPTAIN Apr 25 2005, 06:33pm Wow, anyone got any more?
chillywilly Apr 26 2005, 10:54am Take it from a man that has been in a race car upside down. If it hits on the roof and you don't fill your helmet with vomit your a better man than me.

I've been upside down.......minus the vomit.
Either way, not a nice feeling. Being thrown around like a rag doll as a few thousand pound truck rolls.
Once is enough for me, thanx.
CAPTAIN Apr 26 2005, 11:23pm Hey, wasn't this "Part IV"?
Where's the other parts?
