Looks like Snow Performance now sells a nitromethane mix that you use in your reservoir tank....apparently it's like running a small shot of juice along with the water injection, except cheaper, and you can still run loads of timing just like with regular h2o/methanol.

I may look into this when I install my water injection :rocking:

it will also make your truck run richer .... when i had my turbo b2 when the water injection kicked in at 6psi a/f ratio would go to about 10.3:1, did not run the truck on the street so did not get it dial in, just ran straight water ... if you need more fuel than it would probably run good as long as you tune it for your application

Would any gains be seen with a n/a 4.0 ohv? Such as hp,tq,intake/exhuast temps.

they have a forum on their website...might want to ask on there

water/alcohol injection gives gains on N/A motors from what I understand, as well as reducing intake/exhaust temp.

I expect that water/nitromethane injection would do the same, plus it would add extra oxygen to the mix (probably to a lesser degree than nitrous).

Where you really pick up power with water/meth/nitrometh injection is from being able to advance your timing (or at least not retard it as much) more on pump gas.

Unless you built your own system, though, you could probably just get a nitrous kit off of Ebay cheaper.

Interestingly enough, though....it appears you can use water/meth or water/nitrometh along with nitrous oxide....resulting in more power from a given size shot and giving you a little more margin of safety since it will help keep you from going lean and/or detonating.
