I have a 1997 Ranger XLT with the 4.0L, Auto., and 2wd. My Truck is a project I've devoted what little spare money I, as a teenager, have. I have so far just made non-performance upgrades (compvr 12s, head unit, grille, clear corners, rollpan, euros, neons, ect.) which I know plenty about. Now, my truck has 174,000 miles on it and I'm ready to work on performance. I've decided to get a new engine and roots style supercharger along with whatever else I can afford. I know I want to get a new fuel pump, Mass Airflow Sensor, Magnaflow catback, BBK Throttle body, and a cold air intake(who sells these???) ect.. Could you guys help me out? I'm having trouble locating sources for these parts (stores/companies). I am planning on getting a 5 to 6k loan for labor everything from the bank. Can you tell me exactly what parts you would suggest, model number ect, where I can buy them from, and what I should use to get the most from my 5 to 6k. If it helps I'm located near the Joplin area of SouthWest Missouri. I would appreciate any help you guys could give me. Also, Between now and the time I plan on getting my loan I will be getting (hopefully with the help of my mechanically inclined uncle) a limited slip diff and 4.11 or 4.10 (which one is it?) gears along with a traction bar. One more question, what would choosing a new cam do for this setup and how would that affect an aftermarket powerprogrammer/chip? Please write me at miller_eric_2006@yahoo.com instead of posting on the forum. Can you contact the owners of this site with this subject, I cant get an email through to them, rps@rangerpowersports.com right? Thanks
