From a 95...Has anyone tried this? I can't seem to find any info on it...I'm supposed to be good at searching right? :lame:

Anyway, the price is right, and it comes with the TB and brackets/springs etc so I might get it.

Think it'll work?

These are some stuff I managed to get close to SN-95 manifolds. (Pics anyways)

For some reason when ever I try to look up SN-95, the articles are always either about the 3.8L or the 5.0L and nothing gives a straight answer.

But from what I have read, It should be no problem.

Quote from Mustang 5.0 site:http://www.mustang50magazine.com/howto/17579/index1.html
"Minor detail differences in the intake manifold and front engine dress do not pose a threat to the hot rodder and are well supported by the aftermarket. A bit soft on power stock, they respond well to tuning."

It just curves so it can clear the strut tower, which is a good thing for a ranger. They look cooler, and bolt on the same. You may need a longer throttle cable though?

Cool. I think I'll get it then.

Doesn't that intake use a different throttle body than the earlier intakes? And they don't interchange? And the TPS sensors don't interchange either? I thought I remember reading that somewhere.

Not sure Dave. The TB comes with it, and we will have to wait and see about the TPS.

The TB is different and the TPS is also... You can make an adaptor harness for it if you wish... I can copy the one that I had on mine if you would like...

I was thinking that it couldn't be too hard to adapt the wiring. I just didn't know so I mentioned it.

If everything comes with the intake, I'd get it. I have seen a couple of trucks with that intake and they all seem to fit very well. I initially was going to use one but got talked out of it by a local speed shop. The one I had was polished and everything! Oh well, the EGR delete thing is working for me.

On that intake, the TPS plug in is not the same as 87-93... Ford Motorsport makes an adapter to use the 94-95 TPS with the 87-93 wiring harness..

But are you running an AOD? If so, there is no provision on that intake or TB for a TV cable.. Remember, that year span[94-95] Ford used the AODE in the Mustang...Now this can still work for you if you get the cabling and TV bracket from a 91-93 Cougar/T-bird...They used the same intake setup WITH a TV cable arrangement..

The intake does have a different style tbody and I think I used a T-Bird throtle cable since it was available at the boneyard I was shopping in...
