If someone made a mazda hood ornament I would use it but they dont..no one makes shlt for my truck.. im not trying to get the rice look.. i like clean, no stickers, shaved look. but i need some chrome. (no chrome rocker panels or door handles !!) its not like I think the emblem will add hp.. just to look good. NOT A RICE ADDITION. It is not like the emblem is my most expensive mod. If i saw a bone stock mazda with just the emblems I would throw a brick at it.

My truck has 18" eagle alloy rims with $200/each sumitomo tires, triple cleared purple paint, holley flowtech exhaust with toucan ractive cat + resonated tip (3" non rice tip), modded civic intake 150 amp alternator + rewired 0 gage charging system and on the interior.... recovered tweed mustang gt seats, kenwood excelon cd player w/mask flip face, 2 800.2 rf amps,2x eclipse titanium 12's, 600.4 on $500 mb quart separates with tweets up high in doors, all stinger platnum series inter connects 2x 1 farad caps + audio control epicenter with control flush mounted in dash, and a alpine motion decting alarm with lcd screen readout and aftermarket power locks. 4 tubes of neon in the cab, 3% illigal tint on the back and 35% on the sides. I could have about 10 different brand stickers from parts that I have installed but I dont, I only have one its a 1in by 3in sticker on my xcab window from the shop that installed my stereo.


I have done a shltload more stuff to it but i dont need to list it here, my truck wins shows and dB drags it is NOT rice material. I bet I have put more money into my mazdawg than any other mazda owner on this forum, shlt my subs cost more than all the mods half of you have done. My truck will never be a ricer but I like to think of it as blurring the lines between import and sport truck and will do all I can to make it smoke any other 4 or 6 cyl truck I meet at a light.

I will be adding 2.5 grand worth of suspension, nitrous and performance parts within the next month as soon as I recieve my $4000 insurance check. I am still in high school(senior) btw so im not a millionaire. I do most of the work on my truck at my friends shop or in my garage. I will make a website after my next round of mods..I don't have much time, I work a lot to get cash for my truck and i still have to go to school and pretend I am listening.

Sorry for the long as$ message but I had to clear that up, I hate the sound of a civic with a fart can and more money in his stickers than money under the hood just as much as the next guy.

ricer or not. we (well I) really am not impressed by how expensive all your stuff is.

its not the amount of money you spend on a ride,but the quality of the product and the workmanship. i may not have spent a lot of money on all my mods but i can beat most 4 and 6 cyl engines and i still have a couple of more mods to do and there won't be anything out there to beat me. i mean i am designing everything i need from scratch now.:)

b2300on18s , I hope you feel better now :) Everyone has their opinions on what they would or wouldn't do to their truck, and I've found everyone is pretty liberal on here about offering their opinions. I hope it stays that way as most of us really want to hear what people think about various mods. You're going to have peeps that like everything about your truck, some that like some of the things, and some that like none of it. I wouldn't take offense if someone disagrees with something you want to do. I don't put stickers on mine and don't like purple on anything. But that doesn't mean I don't like your truck, just that I wouldn't do it to mine. Most of the things you've done I really like. So please don't be offended if someone doesn't like some of it. It's like the lowered vs lifted debate. I like lifted trucks a lot better than lowered ones, but I can appreciate what it takes to properly lower one.

If I wanted a high performance truck I would go for the largest engine I could get then work my way up from there, but I'm not looking to get a high performance truck. The only reason I have a B4000 is because it was what was on the lot in my price range that fit my liking. I'm not bashing a four banger, in fact at I times I wish I had one (for gas mileage, y'all sub-4.0's have got me beat :)). I do like the fact that you love your truck and spend as much time & money on it as you can, that's a sign of a true fan. The was I see it is that ricen' isn't just the style of your vehicle, it's your attitude and your style of life. If you know you aren't rice then you aren't! So what if you drive a Mazda, it's a truck, and you're sport-truckin' it, not ricen' it.
